We are dedicated to solving problems, delivering the support needed to help people follow their passions, aspire for more, and better our community as a whole. The organizations that support our community are essential to this process, helping make our neighborhoods, friends and families not only grow but move forward, do more, and set themselves up for successes down the road.  With the same dedication, we put our communities first by supporting the many organizations that approach us for assistance through sponsorships, donations, and volunteering.

Peoples Bank supports a variety of community activities through in-kind contributions and financial support. In 2020, we provided assistance to 247 organization community groups for projects supporting youth activities, housing, health care, education, and the arts – just to name a few.

Community First
Community First is the Bank's employee charitable and social committee.

In 2020, through the generous donations of employees and matching funds form the Bank, Community First distributed more than $70,000 to benefit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana and Porter, Haven House, Legacy Foundation, Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, Cancer Resource Center, Honor Flight and Opportunity Enterprises.

Community First has raised every donation internally since its inception in 1993, reflecting Peoples Bank employees' commitment to get involved locally and make a dedicated effort to improve the quality of life in the communities we work and live in.
